Well dudes, Kansas City hunkered down for blizzardous conditions again last night. This time, it was sloppy slush style. Rain/snow... snain, we'll call it- a term with such suitably off-putting resonance. My P-hunny spent the morning pandering the thought of working from home, but his North Dakota blood sent him into the office. I did a brag-worthy amount of organizing (laundry, travel plans, etc), and even threw this little free-ranger into the crock. I don't do well cooped up inside all day either, even if it just means walking our trash out to the dumpster (which currently happens to be inaccessible to anyone other than snow goats and inuits).

So as Kid President would say, I ventured up the block to get some fresh "air comin' frew muh nose". There wasn't much life out there but my own, and that was okay. Most times, that's all a person really needs anyway. I was lucky enough to catch the Crossroads Coffeehouse within twenty minutes of closing shop, thus toted some afternoon treats back to the lair.
Today was grand in its next-to-nothingness.

Stay warm up there, will ya? As much as I would totally enjoy having an excuse to skip work and bundle up under layers of blankets - I get pretty restless if I don't spend time outdoors! Hope the snain clears up in time for spring! ;)
Great shots and I love the story you tell. I live in Maryland and our winter, yet again, was rainy and depressing. I'd die to trade lives with you so that I did this for a day. :) But, alas, spring will be here soon enough.
